2013
The beginning of Vostra
Vostra was formally established on 10 September 2013, with its administrative office based in Kota Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia.
2014
Building the foundation
- Vostra began operations with a strong software engineering foundation.
- The idea for Vanguard began taking shape as an Android device management product, alongside the development of its first version.
- Vostra established its engineering office in BSD, Greater Jakarta, Indonesia.
2015
Turning an idea into a product
Vanguard completed its initial product development and became commercially ready, marking Vostra’s first step in bringing its own technology product.
2016
Our first enterprise customer
Early enterprise deployments spanned the Logistics & Transportation and Financial Services sectors, marking Vanguard’s move into real-world enterprise use.
2017
Earning our first recognition
Vostra was recognized as the 1st Winner of the Samsung Independent Software Vendor Challenge, an early milestone in Vanguard’s product journey.
2018
Expanding our product journey
Vostra launched Dreambox Family, a parental control solution designed to help parents monitor and manage children’s Samsung devices, including application usage, web access, location, and device activity.
2019
Evolving device deployment
Vanguard introduced Vanguard Configurator, expanding its device management approach with a dedicated mode for initial Android device configuration, including deployment-specific settings and applications.
2020
Broadening our capabilities
- Vostra moved beyond products into Consulting Services through IT Governance consultancy.
- Vanguard advanced its Android management capabilities through zero-touch enrollment and Android Enterprise integration, expanding beyond Corporate-Owned Business-Only (COBO) management to support Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), Work Profile on Corporate-Owned Devices (WPCOD), and kiosk deployment scenarios.
- Vostra transitioned its engineering operations to a remote working model in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Extending our portfolio
- Vostra expanded into Managed Services through Software Development and IT Technical Support.
- Vostra launched Stellar Smartguard, an Android management solution designed for growing businesses (UMKM).

Growing our reach
Vostra reached 50+ cumulative customers, with adoption continuing to expand across a broader range of industries.

Expanding managed operations
- Managed Services expanded into 24/7 Data Center Operations (DCO).
- Vostra was recognized among the Top 5 Best Successful Graduate Placements by Telkom University.

Scaling across the business
- Managed Services expanded into a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Stellar Smartguard was relaunched following a major product revamp.
